Bought sight unseen, just via computer image and crossed fingers. These are gorgeous in person. I didnt want a white floor (the dirt!) or a dark floor (the dirt!). The pattern here will go with any color grout (I suggest darker than the tiles though!) and the overall effect will, hopefully, be like...sand, the beach, the coast. I’m really happy with this tile. The quality honestly exceeded what I was expecting. It feels solid and well made, and you can tell it’s going to hold up over time. The marble look gives it a clean, modern feel without being too much, and the pattern has enough variation that it doesn’t look repetitive. The real Crema Marfil is quarried near Alicante, Spain, and is technically limestone. However, it is widely labeled as a Marble because it can be polished to a high shine. It has a subtle beige veined background and is an excellent material if you are looking for a gentle warm neutral color palette. Please beware of less expensive options on the market quarried often from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, or China as they have less desirable yellow, pink or red hues. Its jade-like appearance adds just the right amount of elegance to your project. In addition, the soft green color palette of mosaics is perfect for a relaxed beach-themed look.

I love how easy it is to operate the tongue and groove system but there are a few pieces that have been tricky. It’s also a bit hard to match up the “knotholes” in the pattern. I gave it 4 stars because I noticed one of the boxes of tile is crumbled on the edge. Hopefully they are in tact other than the one box. I went with the 10 rule ordering enough tile. A one-step formula that cleans, shines and protects in a one-time and labor-saving step. This product is safe to use on Forbo Marmoleum products. It is also non-toxic, bio-degradable, and has no harsh chemicals.

This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first.
