Solid upgrade from my pro22, assembly was straight forward. The “break-in” process was simple. I really enjoy the wifi( I didn’t have this before) the hooks to hang the grates for cleaning. The drip tray design ten times better than my previous traeger. I've owned my Broil King Pellet for several years and have tried my friend's low-cost smokers and they simply don't compare. The quality difference in the Broil King is superior, I get a reliable cook each time and haven't had any issues. Other reviews mention auger jams but this can be avoided by not overfilling with pellets and removing your excess pellets after cooking - I have friends who run into auger jams on their smokers and its because they forget that the auger is already half loaded from their last cook. However, if you would like to directly grill some or all of your meal, this product doesn't disappoint located in the firebox chamber on an adjustable-height porcelain-coated wire, which is enough to directly cook a lot! Cook in one chamber, or in both - the choice is yours and the chrome-plated spring handles on both lids will remain cool to the touch even when the fire is lit. Using the temperature gauge, you can easily control the heat you cook by raising or lowering the charcoal grate in the firebox or by adjusting the dampers inside the main chamber's smokestack. The dampers control how much heat and smoke escape through the smokestack the more smoke is trapped inside of the chamber, the hotter and smokier your food will get. A side clean-out door on the firebox makes for hassle-free ash removal and fire-tending, and a spacious storage shelf under the unit will hold all your grilling accessories so you are always ready to light up. As with all grills, this product recommends keeping the firebox clean to help avoid flare-ups as well as using a grill cover to protect your investment.
