These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. These are heavy and well made but unfortunately we can't use them with our sliding door. They stick out too far from the wall. But I purchased them because I didn't want to screw the door glide into my new hardwood floor and these go into the baseboard.
