This works really well to connect two barn door rails together to make one long rail such that two (or more) doors will be able to slide along the rail all the way to the left and all the way to the right. The connector is flat and smooth and does not obstruct or block the door wheels when sliding (in other words does not prevent doors from sliding past it). I used it to put two five foot barn door rails together to make one long 10 foot rail so my two 30" doors (60" or 5 foot total) could slide all the way to the left on the rail when doors are open, and all the way to the right on the rail to close both doors together for my 5 foot door opening.. It is a surface-mounted Bobrick-style latch that is designed for use on swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with a matching keeper and stainless steel fasteners. This latch mounts over a durable, black plastic base with its mounting holes spaced apart. This restroom stall slide latch also features a tension adjustment clip that is embedded within the black plastic mounting plate, concealed beneath the stainless steel surface of the lock. The tension clip can be adjusted to create or reduce resistance between the plastic insert and the metal housing.
