Installed two of these in the laundry room. To avoid doing electrical work we ran the cord into the cabinet then used an in wall hidden cord kit that came out next the outlet behind the washer. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult.
