First off my grandsons 3, 6 and 7 love this swing set. It is very sturdy. THAT BEING SAID we opted to put the set together instead of professional installation - WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The set was delivered via truckline and sent on a pallet (took about 3 weeks to receive). There were quiet a few boxes. First off the boards were not in a "specific" box (for example the tower boards mixed with swing boards. etc) SOME of the boards (not all) had the item # on them. The hardware - well we had probably 5 bags in different boxes with 5/8 washer. and there are A LOT of screws and nails, etc. You are going to get duplicate of a lot of the hardware. The directions were NOT GOOD AND ALL OVER THE PLACEI .It listed all the hardware and all the boards with extra boards that are not even for this set and not all the boards have holes drilled! They send 2 different drill bits but we had to purchase a paddle drill bit too. It took my husband and daughter from May 24th until June 9th to complete (doing a little everyday but was many rainy days hampering everything. ). If you chose to take on this task my opinion open all boxes and sort boards that are alike together. I also took ziplock bags and put all the hardware that was the same together because so many screws and nails were the same. If it is in the budget HIRE A PROFESSIONAL! Good luck and enjoy!!!!. Set is very solid (I am 200 lbs and had no problems climbing in and on it to build) and the directions were great. The bags of screws are not identified very well. However, the instruction booklet uses actual size for screws and bolts so I was able to lay the screws and bolts right on the booklet to ensure I was using the correct ones. the boards were all pre-drilled, making it very nice for ensuring you have the correct boards and avoid splitting. I found one error for board orientation in the booklet, but it was quite noticeable and easily corrected. Project took me a full saturday and sunday with only myself (I had a helper to move the main tower into position). I took my time to ensure all was done well. The child LOVES it!!. Benton.
