I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. It convenient yet out of the way, not taking up counters pace. We didn't care for the microwave in a drawer, so this was the fix. The tubular handle matched other appliances. My only thought was I wished the handle matched. For some reason it's shiny chrome on a stainless trimmed front? You don't notice as it's in the corner, but we did wonder.
