Maintaining pressure on the up and down button I am sure is a safety feature, but until you become a seasoned pro it takes a little finesse. This 39" Ladder is great for children of all ages and with a weight capacity of 150 lbs. The ladder lets young children climb onto the trampoline. Trampolines are not for children under 6 years. Do not use the ladder if children under six might be nearby. Remove when the trampoline is not in use.
