Why is this important - without 100% coverage, there would be a gap under the garage door where insects/vermin could enter. Also, if your garage door were to come down on this ramp, your automatic garage door opener's setting may cause the door to not close, but come back up, believing it hit an obstruction - so make sure you have the capacity and instructions available to adjust those settings. The 90 gal. size (in some places it says 82 gal.) was just enough to fit 6 dining cushions and pillows. It is sturdy enough for being this light but I wouldn't say this is a heavy duty and sturdy box that will take abuse such as sitting on it or kids jumping on it.
