My cat jumped right into the nice size 15” wide bed there. Its plenty sturdy for my 2 - 12 lb. cats. And has a nice firm 24” x 20” sq. wood base . The reason i gave it 4 stars because IT IS NOT CHOCOLATE BROWN as pictured which is what I wanted. It is a med beige tan, see photo. Disappointing but I am keeping it and my two cats love it. This tower is pretty good. It is sized for adult cats instead of kittens when most cat furniture is not. The cat shown in the photo is approximately 16 pounds and it fits them perfectly. I will say it doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as I was anticipating but I do feel it will hold up for many years. This cat tree is a real bargain for the size. I have a 10lb cat, and he fits purrfectly in the hanging baskets. He enjoys the caves and the scratching posts.
