Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. Inspired by the Greek myth of a Corinthian girl who drew a portrait of her beloved, before he departed for war, by tracing the outline of his shadow on a wall to have an image to remember him. Leighton, exchanging the tale to a Gothic castle, altered it to Medieval dress, armor and a beautiful red-haired maiden, adding to the drama there are crusader ships waiting outside the castle walls.
