This was a nice upgrade for my tortious, however I think it would have been nicer to have 3 panels of glass, other than 1, so he can see out. It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Well this is now called the quainsion, since we have three button quail living in this little mansion. It was not difficult to put together. My fiance would have but he was sick so I struggled through it and I can't even nail in a nail straight. Lol he did put some waterproofing on it so it will last longer, and for quail, he put a second latching mechanism so it will be difficult for raccoons to get in. Took about an hour to put together. Directions are just pictures. The cage is made from cedar so very soft wood. Be easy screwing it together. Don't over do it. It is nice once finished. Although ours had some blemishes it came with on the stained areas to be new. We also had an issue with the pieces that came not flush put together in the factory when placing the wheels on.
