I definitely enjoyed the over hang so were not fighting for cover its more than enough. It kept me warm but not to hot so stll breathable material. The durability is pretty good so far. I love this but wish TB sold items individually instead of sets. I love having king shams on my queen bed but the king comforter is huge. I loved the print so much I bought it anyway and cut it down on one side so it wasn’t so huge. The length was good allowing me to fold over the top to see the green stripes. Tommy Bahama's all-cotton serenity palms quilt is a step up from the usual solid color quilts with an all-over stitch pattern. This design is engineered and pieced to create a unique and elegant master bedroom statement. The all-over scroll stitch pattern appears on the bed platform, but the quilt is framed by contrasting channel-quilted borders, with an additional medallion scroll band added to the outer edge of the quilt.

I am very pleased with this bedding set. It is very high quality and all cotton so washable. The colors are exactly as seen online. One thing to be careful when ordering... the quilt is sold separately from the shams. I'm guessing a lot of people have ordered and been disappointed to realize the shams are sold separately..
