I definitely enjoyed the over hang so were not fighting for cover its more than enough. It kept me warm but not to hot so stll breathable material. The durability is pretty good so far. The all-over scroll stitch pattern appears on the bed platform, but the quilt is framed by contrasting channel-quilted borders, with an additional medallion scroll band added to the outer edge of the quilt.

I am very pleased with this bedding set. It is very high quality and all cotton so washable. The colors are exactly as seen online.
