The desk is exactly what I needed for the space I have. I am Really Glad we opted to have a professional assemble it. It took her a couple of hours. It would have taken my husband and I at least double that and we probably would have been yelling at each other before it was done. I was disappointed that there is a small "misprint" that detracts from the desk top's appearance. I opted to ignore it rather than go through the hassle of returning it.
