I havent been so lucky in my house. Ive only ever had an over the range microwave fan system. When our house flooded I had the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen and I jumped on getting a real hood for my range. It has been amazing! Looks very clean and modern, it was easy to install for two DIYers after watching ProLine video on YouTube. Sounds reasonable in our open plan kitchenhouse. Even though the shroud is wide, the air guide behind it on top of the motor doesnt leave a lot of space for the electrical outlet, so I recommend placing the outlet higher and off to the side..
