Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. Like the faucet however don’t much care for the sprayer hose. Like all other spray hoses it is stiff, not flexible and I also have some concern about the security of its connection to the main faucet.Additionally, including some kind of nice fitting thin rubber gasket for between the fixture and the sink mount area instead of having to use plumbers putty would have been nice. Fortunately, I was able to use the gasket from the old faucet. The gasket for between the sprayer and sink seem quite thick… a little too much. Bought this faucet in chrome finish. It really dresses up the sink area. The chrome finish does not seem to water spot. This prep faucet is the perfect size, not too tall and very sleek looking. The docking system seems very secure. The pull down hose lets me easily rinse my 33" single sink. I can even fill a 5 gallon bucket under this faucet. I also love the toggle to change the spray.
