I love these tiles!!! I thought each tile was a large star, but its actually four stars in what looks like four tiles, per large tile. However, they still look great! I bought these tiles to put over my existing mosaic backsplash. It was too costly to rip out and install new, real tiles. Additionally, this is a great way for me to experiment with colors to see how I would like a different pattern/color long term if and when I choose to actually go through the replacement. This took a little bit more time then I expected but overall, it went well and I liked the fact that I could use regular scissors or utility knife to cut the times. The corners were a little challenging but doable. I really like the way they look. You can see in some spots the unevenness of the existing tiles but the variation in the color pattern helps hide this. I chose the green with the existing Fantasy Brown granite.. Christina M.. Ohio. We ordered this tile to surround our fireplace. It is really attractive, but a lot of tiles came chipped or broken, which is why only a 4. Our contractor is finally getting around to installing the tiles. I seem to remember that there were special instructions for cutting the tile on the Webpage where we ordered the tile.
