These were super easy to put up. I purchased two. They needed to be ironed first. One of my windows faces an alley where the house next door can see into the room. I also have 2 small dogs who destroy mini blinds from looking out windows, so I have had to find a better solution for window coverings. In this room, I ended installed electrostatic faux stained glass in the bottom glass panel of my window and replaced the mini binds with pleated shades. The shades stay down on the front window to let light in and privacy. The pleated shades stay up on the window facing the alley. I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. I have ordered from Wayfair on numerous occasions and this was the first time that I have had an issue. I ordered 3 Malpass Belgian Sheer Rod Pocket Tie Up Shade by Rosecliff Heights and only received 2. I was a little disappointed when I opened the package and only saw 2.
