I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. These were super easy to put up. I purchased two. They needed to be ironed first. One of my windows faces an alley where the house next door can see into the room. I also have 2 small dogs who destroy mini blinds from looking out windows, so I have had to find a better solution for window coverings. In this room, I ended installed electrostatic faux stained glass in the bottom glass panel of my window and replaced the mini binds with pleated shades. The shades stay down on the front window to let light in and privacy. The pleated shades stay up on the window facing the alley. Not as thick as I had hoped, closer to a thick mattress cover. Not much different from a down blanket, really. Still, it’s a great deal for something that is great for your health due to it being hypoallergenic and good for your skin! It’s basically a nice topper for firming up a foam mattress, or adding a hypoallergenic layer overtop something that’s not rated as being very “green”. We first tried this over a firm latex pad, and it did not add much noticeable improvement in thickness or softness. Next, we tried this down pad over a 2 inch thick foam pad, and it made all the difference! I am not at all a fan of foam pads. However, using this topper over the foam pad makes the foam less susceptible to sinking! Love it! Beautiful fan. Quiet. Fully variable fan speed and light. There is a control box that they want you to bury up in the ceiling control box.
