This is the third of this type umbrella I have purchased. I love them but they last only about 2 years. The thatch part is like a plastic material and it will disintegrate in the hot sun. Im in Texas so the sun gets scorching here. I’m aware that the thatch won’t last indefinitely and aware that I will need to replace my umbrella every few years but I love the look and the cost of a new umbrella is very reasonable so I will continue to order a replacement when this one needs to be replaced. ..
