In our case, the fan is dark, in the same tone exactly as the light kit, and the ceiling is also on the dark side, so we are looking for a way to light the cones and straw. So I love this fan, BUT wish a couple things were different. I bought this to go along with my other Tiffany shade fan. Now that I have it installed, I want to replace my other fan with this one. So the electrician said this was easy to install. I enjoy their being 3 different lighting options, but the remote only lets you change it by turning off and on. The other downside is that I can not dim the lights any. Other than that I have no complaints. It is very quite and does not wobble any like the other fan.
