I purchased the Vornado Portal Low Profile Window Fan for our nearly 200-year-old farmhouse, which does not have central air conditioning, and it has made a noticeable difference in keeping the house comfortable. I looked at many possibilities to replace my nearly 40 year old bathtub water control hardware. This system surpasses my expectation. All the materials from what is visible to the not seen plumbing are of excellent quality both visually and to touch (weight, finish etc) . The box that contained the fixtures was well designed protecting each component from shipment damage as well as a note to carefully examine each item with encouragement to report flaws. Prior to install I carefully attached parts noting that each part was well tooled and I believe made installation not only easy and also instilled confidence that the joins will hold up over time versus deteriorate over a short period of time causing water issues. I bought 3 of these but have only installed one so far. I love the novelty of the design, and have used it turned upright as a drinking fountain, and to rinse out my eye when I got some sand in it. Very handy. My husband will also really like it for the spray option, and the height and adjustability for a quick hair wash in the sink. My one complaint is that the on-off handle is so stiff, it's almost impossible to turn it on at any volume other than full blast. You have to work so hard to push the lever, then it just goes to total on, nothing in between. I'm hoping the other 2 won't be so stiff, and if not, maybe there is something that can be adjusted on this one. They are a great price and overall good quality. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. This slide is a beast! We fly down the slide and the pool is huge! The kids love to just hang out in it. We have used it with and without water and while it is better with water it’s not a bad blow up slide to play on either- we use burlap sacks to go down on when it’s dry.
