This table is absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy. I managed to get both leaves in to extend the table without assistance, as well, though I haven't tried taking them back out yet. This very traditional ball & claw Chippendale chair is a reproduction of the mid-1700s English Chippendale chairs. The muslin fabric is designed to function as a base fabric for the chair so you can apply your personal choice of fabric over the seat with greater ease. The muslin base fabric is not designed to be used as the final fabric.

The turned legs and distinctive Tamarind finish command attention, particularly at its full 120-inch length. For more intimate occasions, remove the two leaves.

This table is substantial and beautiful! The legs are beautifully shaped and solid. The finish on the top is similar to the finish on a grand piano-- it is black, streaks easily, and you cannot see any wood grain. Still, when we polish it carefully, it has an elegant gleam. The top and both leaves sustained damage in shipping. Wayfair offered us a discount and suggested a product to disguise it. Since the table is distressed anyway, we agreed. Id recommend this table if you have a large enough area and like SpanishCaribbean Colonial style. Ive paired it with brown leather, Spanish Revival chairs and it looks spectacular. Designed after an English antique, this high-quality mahogany inlaid console makes elaborate use of high-quality inlays. Drawing inspiration in design from the famous English cabinet maker console is narrow enough to be used in a front entrance and wide enough to fill up a lot of wall space. The mahogany top is banded with satinwood, the four legs at the apron have oval fan-shaped inlays and there are cascading bellflower satinwood inlays to the fronts of the legs which themselves are made from solid mahogany and end in a spade foot style. This mahogany inlaid console table is the perfect size for use in a front hallway as it is quite narrow and does not protrude far into the room.
