I thought the top surface would be larger. It’s hard to get close to your lap The arm rest are nice. And although I measured it doesn’t fit my couch to well. I can make it work but a challenge. Make sure you measure. On a better note it’s made well and is very soft. To make it higher there are snaps. Very hard to snap. I gave this four stars because it arrived in a smashed box and the mount and arm were not attached. It took a while to put them together.
