This desk is gorgeous and great quality. It is exactly as it looks in the images and the color is beautiful. It was fairly easy to assemble, just go show and step by step. I did it by myself, but there is one step that you definitely want a second person to help with. It's the one where you have to hold two panels at the same time. So when you reach that step, don't try it without a friend, otherwise you risk damaging the piece. Just as advertised. I was not expecting anything heavy duty. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in).
