Im glad that I found this set on Wayfair to go along with my new cookware. The price on Wayfair was better than on other sites. The protectors keep the interior of my non- stick pans safe when I need to stack pans. The silicone pot holder set has a holder for the pans handle, because it may conduct heat while in use and the pan handles are concave so this makes them easier to hold onto. I just purchased 2 sets of this Caphalon Cookware as gifts for my daughters. I have owned the same set for over 17 years and it is still going strong! Caphalon sells 2 space saver sets (a lower priced version and this set which is almost double the price). The difference is on the handle of each lid. The lower price version has a rubber handle that is not suitable for use in the oven. The lids on this (higher end) set have metal handles and can be used in the oven.
