So far I'm really enjoy the Chefspot. I've only had a chance to take it to work twice, but it's very nice to be able to just plug it in a half hour or so before I would like a hot lunch and be able to eat at my desk quickly and without a mess or a lot of fuss. I have not figured out what you're supposed to do with the handle (I just shove it down in the carrier but there's not a lot of room for it, and it would be nice to have a longer cord to plug it in (I have to put it on the floor in order to plug it in. Also, it seems better suited for soup or something that doesn't need to be cut with a knife and fork - there's not much room for maneuvering within the bowl and it only comes with a small spoon and fork (but those are super cute and really nice to have and come in their own little case). I have not tried plugging in the lunch box in the car and don't know that I will have much of a reason to in the future, but it's nice that it's an option. All in all, a really nice thing to have.. The comprehensive data Logger includes a TFT full-color display with graphing and monitoring of temperature, humidity, dew point, and heat index, and allows you to monitor up to 8 channels at the same time. The clock automatically synchronizes the time several times a day based on a radio signal from fort collins, co (web). The radio controlled clock never needs resetting and is accurate to the second. The clock automatically adjusts for daylight savings time and your time zone. An override daylight savings time feature is available for residents in Arizona. The reception attempt for the daily automatic synchronization with the radio time is performed several times a day. One successful synchronization per day is sufficient to accurately set the clock to the second. Includes 24 time zones throughout the world. The graph and display allow you to choose from temperature, humidity, dew point, and heat index. For example, you can view channel 1 temperature, dew point, or heat index from a user-friendly display. High and low alarms can be set for any of the measured parameters. The audible and visual alarm will sound when a value is out of range. The outdoor remote sensors include dip switches for channel selection and units of measure (def vs deg). The sensor search mode allows you to re-sync sensors without removing and re-inserting batteries. Optional temperature and humidity calibration are provided for the utmost accuracy, Although calibration is optional and not required, the purpose of calibration is to fine-tune or correct for any sensor error associated with the device's margin of error and inevitable sensor drift associated with electronic measurements. This traditional weather station is both a work of art and an instrument at home in any fine study, library, office, or upscale restaurant. The rich, wood framed classic weather station measures barometric pressure (liquid). The antique weather station displays an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument from Ambient Weather. The concept that 'decreasing atmospheric pressure predicts stormy weather' was postulated by Lucien Video and it's the basis for a weather prediction device called a storm glass or liquid barometer. It consists of a glass container with a sealed body, half-filled with water. A narrow spout connects to the body below the water level and rises above the water level, where it is open to the atmosphere. When the air pressure is lower than it was at the time the body was sealed, the water level in the spout will rise above the water level in the body and when the air pressure is higher, the water level in the spout will drop below the water level in the body. Also includes a comfort meter, which measures temperature and humidity, and a comfort zone indicator.
