Unfortunately, there is nothing to catch overflow or kids using it and not being as coordinated filling a cup. The pitcher version in the door would be a great improvement. The middle shelf isn’t as sturdy, would have been better as a solid shelf. The zero clearance doors are the best invention and it’s too bad not all fridge companies are not doing it. We have a wall against the left side of our fridge and now have no problem getting into our drawers to reach things now! When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well.
