Good price. A lot of dents and scratches on the metal. Some of the supports have staggered holes drilled in them. The manufacturer knows things don’t always line up correctly and note in the instructions when assembling difficult parts with certain screws to use alternative screws. The alternative screws are bigger and/or are self tapping. The frame requires the sheet metal to support and solid everything up. Kind of like the backing on a cheap entertainment center. Be sure to have something solid and level to attach the base to…the ground would be difficult to keep square. The trim and front top is scratched too, but they failed to upload.. Anonymous. The quality of the carport is low. Some of the pieces were not properly made to be able to assemble. Wayfair did send another unit. This is a great carport. The directions for the canvas part was a bit hard to decipher, but otherwise the directions were pretty good. Unwrapping plastic from each roof panel was a bit of a pain, but if you do it on a sunny day outside, the panels will get warm and the plastic will be easier to remove. We just had 3 or 4 of us at a time unwrapping them. I am optimistic that it will last a long time. You need to be adept at interpreting exploded drawings. that said, each step is illustrated and easy to follow. this can be built by 1 person, but expect to really spent time with it over several days. The steel frame is well designed and executed. It screws together beautifully, but expect to use an impact driver for best results. Leveling and anchoring the structure are going to take a while, but DO NOT skimp on this step. your building will be stronger and less prone to damage if you do it well. 2 people are ideal for putting on the roof, but 1 person can do it when it is not windy. even a slight breeze will make the larger panels want to twist out of your grasp. Wear leather gloves while handling the roof sheets. they are very sharp edged. Here is a picture of mine with the frame completed, leveled, and anchored. All I need do is put on the roof. If you look carefully, you might discern that I fasdtened the front right upright of the carport to the gatepost. I did this for two reasons: 1, it supplys a strong fixed point to begin leveling that building side, which I rcommend because it makes leveling the other side MUCH easier. Rather than level the off-side along the length, you want to level the upright frame from the fixed side to the other. this will give you a straight, and therefore square building. I am not concerned about the gaps between the frame and the gound, because I will install "terrrace board" as a part of my new gravel driveway and parking pad.Sso ultimately it will be filled in, but with material that drains fully and quickly. use rot proof materials as the shoring under the frame where necessary.. This unit is exactly what I have been looking for. I purchased this item twice before with other sellers during COVID but each time the order was cancelled after several months by the seller when they could not obtain the steel tubing for the sturcture. This unit was delivered to my door on the date promised when I placed the order with Wayfair. I have not setup the unit yet due the weather conditions.
