This arrived well packaged with no issues. It is heavy duty. Its made up of 4 glass panels with corner connectors you attach yourself using a Philips screwdriver. There are heat resistant feet that hold it up about an inch for an air gap needed by the burners. I would not use my firepit without it since it protects those sitting near from the flames blowing their direction, or being blow out. This fire table has a great appearance. Smooth and sleek lines and well-crafted. It is heavy and cannot be lifted by one person alone, so be mindful of that. Hookup is standard flexline to the gas line. To light, turn the valve on and use any source of fire (i.e. it's external ignition). The flames are long and impressive, just remember to use the lava rocks (included) to form a MOUND above the fire (other images for this product reflect incorrect installation).
