We spent many weeks trying to find the proper bracket to hold up a bar countertop in our basement. I will admit I was very skeptical that they would work for our project, but low and behold, they exceeded our expectations. These brackets are high quality. This countertop support Bracket by The Original Granite Bracket is contractor grade and made of thick 1/4" American steel. Recommended spacing is every 16 inches apart. Made of thick by 4 wide of American steel. Protected with textured powder coat paint. Countersunk holes for flush installation. Simply rout out an " inch deep by 4" recess into the top of the cabinet and screw the Support Bracket Bracket in place with screws. Holes are countersunk for flush installation. Once installed they are virtually invisible.
