Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent. You can adjust fan speed from 1–10. It feels like you are sitting on your porch with a steady breeze. It also includes aromatherapy pads. You can use it as a regular fan or use its full functionality to circulate air throughout the room. The remote (and a panel on the fan itself) controls the fan speed, oscillation, power, and sleep timer. It can rotate 180° sideways and up to 90° vertically. Very easy to use. I love this fan.
