The Stitch Master model 6116 by Edmunds is a very versatile floor stand for holding various stitching and quilting frames and hoops. Very adjustable and portable. Light-weight and unfinished, but sanded smooth. Folds for storage or easily disassembled. I have seen vintage stands with much heavier bases. This new model is very light and simple in construction, may limit the size and weight of some projects and frames without additional reinforcement. The design employs a formal grid structure organizing sixteen floral medallions across the golden-ochre field, each medallion containing a precisely rendered naturalistic bouquet in soft pink, cream, and selective red accents. These medallions are connected by a continuous lattice of scrolling ribbon-like forms in coral-pink that creates a sophisticated framework throughout the field. Love it. Brother quality at its best. Love the stitch option, easy bobbin and all the included accessories, including a surprise extended work space. Some reviews complained about not being able to wind the bobbin.
