I recieved my POOLIN today!!! I love it. Interface is extremely user friendly. The User Manual is very well written making it comprehensible. I was able personalize a quilt top immediately, and the stitching reslults were phenomenal. Also, I tested one of the preinstalled fonts, used the USB drive, and the wireless function via institch, which all functioned correctly. I have not tested the sewing function, but plan to. This machine arrived in perfect condition due to great packaging. It came with tools, sewing notions, and some embroidery supplies that can be stored in a very nice case or storage container. Made with handwoven wool in Romania originating circa 1900, this 12x15 oversized Bessarabian kilim from Southeast Europe features a golden-ochre field with formal floral medallions arranged in a grid pattern, surrounded by an elaborate Art Nouveau-influenced border. On the Design: A rare Bessarabian antique for its colors, spacious large size and design representing the significant cultural exchange between Western European decorative traditions—particularly French Aubusson tapestry designs—and Eastern European weaving practices during the late 19th century, when Art Nouveau aesthetics influenced traditional craft production throughout the region. The design employs a formal grid structure organizing sixteen floral medallions across the golden-ochre field, each medallion containing a precisely rendered naturalistic bouquet in soft pink, cream, and selective red accents. These medallions are connected by a continuous lattice of scrolling ribbon-like forms in coral-pink that creates a sophisticated framework throughout the field. The border demonstrates remarkable complexity with multiple framing elements including a Greek key pattern delineating the transition between field and border, followed by an elaborate scalloped edge featuring stylized botanical forms, urns, and scrollwork against the same golden ground as the field.
