First, the sofa is beautiful and very comfortable. We did find it a bit difficult to connect a couple of the pieces- especially the center bolster was hard to get connected. Its probably because were a little older and the pieces are a bit heavy. Also, despite having heat and massage listed in some of the diagrams about the couch, it doesnt appear to have it. If it does, I cant find it. However, I purchased a massage chair separately that has heat so its not a big deal that the couch doesnt have it... And honestly, this is a very very pretty couch. I think the color is more denim/blue than navy but it worked out just fine in the room so no complaints. The shade seems a bit darker/browner to me than in the online pictures but perhaps that is the light bulb we used. . I purchased open box and both were in excellent condition. Previous reviews I read complained about imperfections but I really think it's just unique textures in each lamp - not a flaw. There is a filter to put on top of the lamp and it does not connect or attach in any way - just sits on top.
