I believe in labeling everything that comes into our home so I can keep up with the freshness and use frequency of everything. I treat our home as a warehouse or store should to determine what and when to buy, this is called the "min/max method". These labels are very easy to write on identifying the contents and date placed in the refrig and/or freezer, preferably using a Sharpie pen, and easy to remove with no residue left behind 9 times out of 10 times. I highly recommend this to everyone wanting to keep up with what an item is in the refrigerator and especially the freezer. and the date refers to when the item was placed in storage. I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. We were not able to install this by ourselves and had to call for reinforcements via an HVAC guy. Once everything is finished being installed I will update with the finished product! UPDATE: like others have posted, you will need a special HVAC vacuum to start the unit. You will also need special wire and a 220 outlet to connect to.
