By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. I usually don’t write product reviews, but I had to share my experience with this inflatable tent. After a long day of unpacking and setting everything up, I accidentally forgot to loosen the Velcro that was holding my heavy-duty indooroutdoor extension cord tightly wrapped. Because the cord remained coiled during use, it overheated and melted the rubber casing inside the tent. It became so hot that the power shut off due to heat overload, and a cloud of smoke filled the tent. A duffel bag sitting nearby even picked up some melted orange rubber from the cord, and the heat was intense enough to melt the tarp underneath the tent. Despite all that, the tent itself did not suffer any significant damage, which honestly impressed me. I’ll do my best to include photos of everything. Overall, this is an excellent product. It truly functions as a four-season hot tent and does an amazing job retaining heat. I’m definitely not suggesting anyone intentionally test their tent this way — this was purely an accident — but I’m thankful I was in a well-built, reliable tent that helped keep me safe in a potentially dangerous situation..
