This is a decent mirror but wont work for me. I'm not sure what the outer "paintable" material is but it is not what I was expecting. If you have a door way that is even slightly off from the standard measurement, you can't shave it down because of that material. It's plastic like and as you can see from the pictures smudges very easily. Since you have to add hardware, I'm not sure how that would go once cutting into that material. Nice clear mirror though..
