I bought this rug for our front porch because the colors matched our door wreath (also from Wayfair), and the Croton plants we put in the planters. We had to order a runner because the size we wanted was out of stock, but the runner actually works better in the space. It is a true outdoor rug in that it is thinner and dries easily once wet. However, it is not as vibrant as the pictures on the website show. The weave is not tight, so it has an abstract look. From farther away it looks great. Its manual operation consists of a pre-installed gear (standard left-side crank). Its left motor operation includes a remote control, a pre-installed motor with a 12 ft long black cord (110V outlet), and a manual override loop. It is recommended that the awnings are used only during sunny weather and to avoid the use of the awning during poor weather conditions such as rain, snow, high winds, etc. The performance of awning is durable and can withstand high winds up to 35mph.
