I could not believe how heavy this box was when it arrived. As imagined, the quality of the table and pieces are exceptional! These beautiful chairs (in Vintage Tekwood) arrived carefully packaged and fully assembled. (The large carton is on the heavy side.) They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. I like the table. But I was disappointed in the number of patches and how visible they were in the table top. Since it’s an outdoor table I decided to live with it… plus I had the table in storage for while before I took it out of the box and now don’t want to deal with the hassle of a return on such a large item.. This is reclaimed wood, so I did not expect a perfect finish. I gave them a brief sand with 180 grit and a coat of teak oil. They came out great. We will see how they hold up, we live close to the ocean.. Julie. Redondo Beach, CA. Sat May 23 2026
