A Convenient and Healthy Choice for Better Hydration Recently, a close friend of mine, who is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor, suggested I start drinking tepid water, especially in the morning, to improve my health. According to TCM, tepid water has many benefits: it supports digestion, relieves stress, improves blood circulation, soothes sore throats, aids detoxification, eases menstrual cramps, boosts metabolism, and even promotes healthier skin. Inspired by this advice, I decided to adjust my family’s drinking habits. We used to mostly drink room-temperature or cold water—my kids, in particular, always preferred cold drinks. At first, I tried using a regular kettle with our under-sink RO water filter. While the RO water is clean and pure, it doesn’t contain minerals, and the process was honestly a bit of a hassle. I had to wait for the kettle to boil, then wait again for the water to cool down to a drinkable temperature. By the time I had one cup, the water left in the kettle was already cold. It takes about 40-45 minutes to cool (0.08 gal each time, the cooling temperature is 46-59℉). Please do not put cold water in the cooling process, otherwise, the cooling time will be prolonged. After the cooling is over, the yellow light goes off, the fan stops running, and the cold water can be discharged.

The beverage/spring water faucet is great - strong water flow. It keeps a bubble at the tip but it doesn't drip. I kept a cup under it and it kept dry with no leaks. The main faucet sprayer has 3 functions: regular flow of water, spray flow and best of all, a super sprayer. It really removes the stubborn stuff. That was an unexpected, happy benefit. I was using a Pyrex glass measuring cup to heat one cup of water in the mornings in my microwave and it would take almost 5 minutes to begin boiling. I like my hot water fairy hot so really excited that now it takes a minute to two minutes at the most. This was a great purchase and priced very reasonable.
