We installed the PetSafe invisible fence system 2 years ago. The directions were easy to follow and It was easy to install. We trained our cat on this invisible fence and we haven't had him leave the premises since. With this system he gets to run around and play in a large area (about an acre), but stays within the boundaries we set for him. When we got our puppy, we purchased an additional collar and we trained him on it as well. He also stays withing the set perimeter. I was surprised that this pen was so large. I have little wiener dogs that like to be outside with me while I’m there. I got one of the largest pens which I could make a large rectangle shaped pen. It came in 2 boxes so that they would have lots of room. The backyard is completely fenced so I wanted the rectangular for the front. One box is plenty and I can use the 2nd set of panels for the other side of the yard. The panels seem sturdy and high enough for these smaller dogs. The only thing I have some concern with are the latches on the gates. They are quite small and I hope they are strong enough to hold the doors shut. There are 2 latches on each door.. Patty. US.
