We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. Still, it is nice to sometimes only have this light on when in the room. It gives off nice light and is adjustable too. Product broke within a week of using it. Prior to breaking I followed all of the guides online for using ultra pure butane, bleeding the lighter, etc. It failed to light or stay lit. Required constant adjustments. Having to repeatedly activate the lighter hundreds of times in trying to fix the issue caused the internal mechanisms to break. Xikar honored the warranty without issue, however they chose to use a shipping service that charged more then the MSRP for the lighter itself, which did not make it a free replacement , I would be stuck with the same low quality lighter at not nearly triple the cost due to international shipping.
