I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. We got our 30” range a week ago. It shipped out the same day I bought it, and arrived well-protected in lots of packaging. We were anxious about buying it sight unseen, but it is everything the website claims. I have always cooked on gas, and of course anticipated induction would be slow, etc. Instead, the learning curve for me is how incredibly fast and responsive the cooktop is. It’s kind of amazing. I’m very happy to have an electric oven that doesn’t vent like gas, as well - I can bake sourdough loaves free-form since the oven holds steam. And we love no longer having the inevitable “small leakages” of propane in the house. Overall, the range is gorgeous and high quality. I’m still puzzled, though, about the timer for baking/cooking. If I’m correct, there is a single timer available? I haven’t had time to explore that further yet - but I can’t imagine why on an electronic appliance there wouldn’t be at least a few timers available, and easily accessible (for all sorts of things - not just cooking with the range). This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element.
