Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. Very helpful for carrying our 58 lbs. Labrador when she had a ruptured cervical disc at age 11 and couldn’t walk. The stretcher is very sturdily made with handles that are comfortable and easy to hold. The strap to hold your pet on worked well and gave us confidence that we weren’t going to hurt her. My husband and I could carry her (ages 69 and 75) out to the yard, to the car, into the vet. She doesn’t need it since her surgery but it’s very comforting to have it on hand, just in case.
