I like this rug runner a lot. It is protecting my carpet in a heavy traffic area. It is nice to look at and soft to walk on but not slippery, in fact it hasnt moved on the carpet since I put it down either. It feels secure. It also blends in well, neutral and not too obvious. Another reason I wanted the floor protected here is because my new puppy keeps peeing in this spot. The colors of the rug are beautiful. It does have a shine to it, so from one direction it looks very light and the other direction is more like what is pictured online.
