I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. That said, the assembly process was by far the most frustrating part of this purchase. The instructions were unclear and poorly organized, which made it difficult to understand the correct order of steps. None of the parts were labeled, so a lot of time was spent matching pieces to the diagrams and second-guessing whether things were aligned correctly. What should have been a straightforward build turned into a four-hour project. While Im happy with the grills performance now that its assembled, be prepared for a challenging setup process.
