I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. The non-porous material in white gloss finish is easy to clean. The Mobile’s main feature is the U-Shape Outward Swing Door made from durable plastic composite with a decorative tempered glass front screen. The screen conceals a gear and shaft driven, 3-latch door lock system that provides a watertight seal. The door is also engineered to open outward. As a result, the outward swing creates more interior space, making it easier to enter/exit. Tub features a 19” wide seat. Heated seat and backrest provides added comfort when filling the tub. The 2-Piece fast-fill faucet has: a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. It has a fill rate of 16 GPM, based on plumbing conditions. The Mobile is also equipped with Ella’s Single 2” Drain with emergency pull up chain. It consists of two 2” outlets and an overflow.
