Pardon the mess. I just put together a shoe cabinet before I decided to add reviews. The tape works! I only used about 2.5 inches on each corner. The rug is flat and stays in place when we open the door. I needed something thin enough to hold it in place but not get stuck on the door whenever it was opened and closed.
